If I were 90

...and laying on my death bed, this is what I would tell you:

1. Stop trying to impress other people and start trying to impress God.

2. Never forget that money doesn't get you anywhere. In fact, you can't keep what you don't give away.

3. Always be teachable. If you're not, how do you expect to grow?

4. Make excuses less and say, "I'm sorry" more often.

5. Listen more. Talk less.

6. Don't play favorites, fail to give people recognition who really deserve it, explain your side to every argument, or withhold information from others. It's all selfish, and you're not selfish.

This is such a powerful post, Michelle. It all sounds so simple, yet these are things that I can honestly say I still struggle with. I just love this; I may need to write this down and place it where I will always see it!

It's been a while since I've visited; I hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying your weekend.

Have a blessed Easter, my beautiful friend!
